December 7 - Community

Most of my topics revolve around my being abroad, but understand that that was the biggest change that happened to me this year.

I lived in halls, so there were many communities available for me to be part of, and thats what I loved.

The first community I belonged to was that of my own hall. Everybody says this, but my hall is different. hahaha. It is, however, true that my hall has the closest community among all the other halls. Other people may disagree, but they know its true :p

We have supper nights twice a week, and this is the time everybody (well, not everybody, but the usual bunch of people who do go down for supper) just has fun. Food, people, no mistake in that. We talk, we play pool, or just fool around a bit.

Then, there is my own little floor community. My floor is the best. I mean, we even won the floorcest award! :D Most nights, the kitchen is the place to be because everyone will just be there, to cook or not, but definitely just to talk. On Nott nights, our floor is the floor. People come here for pre-drinks. I mean, we even had our own little mini club one night. :D

And then there is the Malaysian community within halls. I have met so many people from friends friends and stuff like that. Its amazing! There really is no need for further elaboration on this because as people say, Malaysians' when they see a fellow Malaysian, we're automatically a family. : )

What community would I like to join in 2011?

I'm thinking of the photographers community. I've always been interested in photography, but I have never had the appropriate kits to seriously get it started with. This year, I might be getting an entry level DSLR and if I really do get it, hopefully, I'll begin taking awesome pictures. heee.
